Adding a stats bar to your signature.

We've all seen them, those fancy little bars tucked underneath the posts telling all and sundry how good (or bad) we are at certain games. "But how do you put them in your signature?" I hear you ask.

It's as easy as this.

1. Click on the user control panel button to the left of the XBF banner.
2. Find and click on "Edit Signature" on the left hand menu bar.
3. Add the text for your signature to the giant "signature" box
4. Save and quit

The stats bar code that you need to paste in will look something like the BFBC2 one below (I've added an @ symbol before the URL and IMG tags so you can read the text)

A quick seach on the net for signatures will give you a whole raft of options that you can choose from for most of the popular games. All you need to do is replace the GT in the text with your own. If you have a space in your GT then this is represented by %20 (so if you look at mine it reads beaker%20smiles for beaker smiles).

If you look at the code you will see both the URL tag and IMG tag have 360 in them to identify me as an Xbox 360 gamer. If you are looking at a multi-format forum this might say PSG or similar for another machine, simply swap them to say 360 (If this bit is confusing then I'm sure a mod or one of the old hands like MSross can offer some advice).

I just tried putting up the one you have in your sig EXPd that shows your clan tag but it comes up with this on mine:

which says I'm in Mr. Dr. Awesome's [SeC] oO whiiich is wrong =P

Just had a quick google, and it seems that there isnt! (or at least none that promotes itself through google!)

you can get stats from bungie.net, and they also released an API to retrieve dynamic stats, but it appears nothing *publicly that I can find* is available for it.
