Thread: LEGO Indiana Jones

“Gaaarrrrrrrrrr!” I have just fallen to yet another death because my stupid AI partner was standing right where I wanted to land, and if you play this game you can be assured that you will meet the same painful fate. It seems ludicrous to me that the game does not know that when I’m standing on a switch to turn off the floor of deadly spikes on front of me and switch to the other character to leg it across, I do not want them to move from the switch with me half way across! “Gaaarrrrrrrrrr!”, the only way to solve this particular conundrum is to plug in your second controller and do the best you can simultaneously moving two characters at once! (I do have some experience in that area as my GF decided that N+ was too frustrating in coop so I controlled both guys at once with some success!)

However despite these constant irritants I find it hard o knock a game this charming, I mean come on it’s Indiana Jones, in LEGO! The feeling displayed by the simple facial expressions of the thankfully mute characters immediately make the acting better than that of Shia LaBeouf in the travesty that was “The Crystal Skull”.

So while the puzzles swing wildly between insanely easy and impenetrably hard, the game is just so cool, the way the enemies explode into their component LEGO parts when you hit them, the tiny LEGO guns you could spend hours looking for as a child and the charming cut scenes all add up to a pretty good game (and not just for kids).

I think the 7/10 score is fair.

I've played all the lego games and they are all great but the Indy one wasnt the best one.

The Batman one is the best so far i think.

however you could always pluck up the courage and ask someone to play it with you lol

Yes like this game a lot, it is easier when u play with another person, it would have been nice to have xbox live coop if u cant find anyone to play, i have 980G so far but find it hard to go back to it once it is finished, it can get a bit boring after u complete the game

It's an amusing enough game, worth the cost alone if only for Lao Che's silent communication of 'The poison you just drank'.

Yeah it's a great game. I would say that though, because it's one of the few games i've managed to complete lol.

Lego Indy Jones 2 is even worst and probably the worst Lego game full stop because there are some stupid annoying bit in it, i thought Lego Indy Jones was a lot easier, as i got 1000gs on that

Just finished LEGO Pirates and it was one of the better ones, comedy felt forced though unlike Batman (the best one).

Lego indy was ok, but some of the cheevos are just plain arse!
Not the worst though. The winner is lego potter
the best by far though is batman
