Thread: Halo 3 ODST Vidoc

Thanks Grandfarseer for the link another nice viral from MS a little like the tribute vidoc for halo 3 i might do a montage of these.

I saw this trailer the other day and the first thing that came to mind was how they should get going on the bloody movie!

I saw District 9 Saturday night and thought it was awesome! It’s directed by the same guy originally signed on for the Halo movie, I mean Microsoft can afford to finance it and would make truckloads of money so just get on with it already!

The problem with the movie was MS not wanting too stump up all the money and wanting too much in return. Could be a huge movie but its about a dude who barely speaks, has no face as a bit err dull. Its a recipe for disaster if you ask me. Bet it would look good though.

No way should they make the movie about the Chief, he’s a faceless space marine with the personality of a plank of wood... No, they should make it about the ODST, and the “bog standard” marines fighting the covenant, at least that have faces to emote!

Maybe just have the Chief make a cameo appearance, save the day and run off into the next battle, that would be awesome!

Name one video game based film thats been huge.

Only xbox fanboys would go to see it, ps3/wii peeps would boycott it out of principle. And all the microsoft haters would likely just download it.

Still peeps like Joey would probably go see the film 50 times each at the cinema so it might still break even.

Dont think that would work mate the chief is Halo without him you have ODST not such a big deal. The only thing that could work with him is the whole Cortana thing thats drama him hunting for her the whole promise Yanks love that shit they would eat it up but i agree he is faceless for a reason that works in a shooter but not a film. That would be a hard script too come up with
