Thread: XBLA Game Review - Zombie Apocalypse

Downloaded this game yesterday and my thoughts well are:.

If you have 800 microsoft points then give this a whirl, if you loved Left 4 Dead then this is the jobby for you.

Take Left 4 Dead and add to that Smash TV, You now have Zombie Apocalypse, horde after horde (sorry day after day) waves of zombies, and you have to chainsaw, shoot, burn, blowup each and every one of them, add to that, death areas on the playing field (trash compactors, car crushers) and you have an abundance of ways of killing them, also the helpless public are also on hand beg and ask for help, and what happens if you dont, then they get bit turnnto a zombie and run after you at the speed of light. Graphics are good, quite a nice mix of different backdrops, sound is good, mix of weapons from machine guns, sniper, flamethrower, molotov cocktails, shotgun and your trusty chainsaw.

Had a few games online and it is a complete blast, the zombies come at you thick and fast with no letup and its hilarious..

Action is viewed from not quite over the top more like the action camera angle in Fifa, would say that this is the best game i've downloaded on XBLA in recent days.

I have to agree, I got this on release, and while most games I wouldnt go back to for a few weeks, I've played this every few days and really enjoy the online co-op

It is bloody tough at times, But that's what makes it better ,

its addictive as hell, was on it all evening

Downloaded the demo for it and was very impressed.

Those on a super-mega-tight budget should check out 'I MAED A GAM3 W1TH ZOMBIES 1N IT!!!1'. One of the new breed of Indie Games.

For only 80 Points, that's about 70p, it's well worth a look. Plays very similarly.

Couldnt agree more, zombie apocalypse takes it to another level with better graphics, better sound, but 'I MAED A GAM3 W1TH ZOMBIES 1N IT' is good also.......

I have a habit of buying ms points all the time and wasting them on needless games, some of the poo xbla game is scary, must have about 60 of them lol

I'm exactly the same, I think 72 are on my list. And I keep buying them.

Per your recommendation I downloaded the trial then proceeded to get the full game, what more can a poor guy ask for but cheap games with zombies.
