    Dante's Inferno Review

Before me things create were none, save things
    Eternal, and eternal I endure.
All hope abandon ye who enter here.

Dante's Inferno (Which means Hell in Italian), is a game based around Dante Alighieri's first poem, named Inferno, which has been changed from Dante being a poet into him being a knight, who commits alot of sins, and upon going home he finds his wife beatrice to be dead and has been taken to hell by Lucifer.

So of course he follows her down in to hell wielding Death's Scythe which he won from death, and Beatrice's cross which he finds in a church on his way to hell, as he gets there he meets his guide, Virgil the Poet, also from the original poem, who was asked by beatrice to guide him down through the 9 circles of hell which are, Limbo, Lust, Gluttony, Avarice & Prodigality, Wrath and Sullenness, Heresy, Violence, Fraud, Betrayal.

Through each he has to fight there bosses, which are named after iconic historical people (ill let you see them for yourself), to get to the next circle.

First thing is, there are 7 levels of both Unholy and Holy skills to get/upgrade, Unholy being Scythe skills and Holy being Cross skills, scythe being close and cross being ranged.

You buy skills with souls that you get from defeating enemies and finding fonts of souls and such.

Punishing enemies is simple, its just one button click, but Absolving has a little game where an orb flys towards it in a cross formation and you have to press the corresponding button thats facing that side of the cross, for example if it was coming in from the left that means it would be the X button.

The combat system is simple yet its really good, i enjoy'd using the different button combinations to do different skills, like LT + A and things like that, this game also has very easy to get achievements which are based around finding all the judas coins and shades, doing every level, stuff like that, all are easy to do if you know how, the only harder ones are the "Get 200" and "Get 666" hit combos, but theres a way around that to.

All Over I'd say this game is worth getting even if you just want to boost your gamerscore, or if you want a fun game to play thats not too difficult and has a long play time, and decent graphics.

    Rated 18 and i'd give it a personal 8/10.
