Thread: Crysis 2 Review Part 1

Not a bad start i must say. Only played the first 2 hours but getting really into it now. The suit is very well integrated into the game making you feel powerful but not invincible. The various suit powers Cloak and Armour allow you to choose your approach. Do you cloak and sneak past or power up the armour and kick some teeth in. The latter of course what are you a girl???

I approached the same part 3 different ways and each time i got a completely different experience and outcome. The ninja approach was more tense but the Rambo approach kicked serious ass.
Its in the flexibility that Crytek have found their niche. Sure i find the suit a pretty blatant rip off of the Halo suit but the suit powers allow you too play the way you want instead of how the Developers want you to.

Yes the game is pretty of course it is by far the best looking shooter on console you should see it on PC wow. But looks aside i am impressed so far. The weapons are great, the suit is brilliant and well balanced and the story is slowly building up.

I got Crysis 2 a couple of days ago, played it for a bit, then went out and bought an HD telly with my birthday money, When I went to play it again I jizzed everywhere, didn't realise how much difference HD makes. Aside from looks i'm really liking it too, not tried multiplayer yet, mainly because the singleplayer is really addictive!

Its best in HD one amazing looking game
