Thread: Xbox Live Update Video Leaks Online

A detailed look at the fall update is making the rounds.


A video showcasing Xbox Live's fall dashboard update has leaked online.

The original source of the video is currently unknown, but the system's language is set to French. The video shows a darker, more fluid dashboard, complete with new blades and a new layout similar to Windows Phone 7.





Microsoft discussed the update at E3 earlier this year, but this video marks the first time the complete new layout has been seen in motion. The dashboard will be able to be controlled entirely with Kinect.

Microsoft hasn't commented on the leak, but various copies of the video have been pulled from YouTube throughout the day.

The dashboard update is set to officially release later this fall.

Also comes with 'beacons' (sadly, not a misspelling of bacon), and cloud saving.. so when your internet is down, your single player game cannot proceed!

I do hope the cloud is a sync option rather than 'can only be stored there'
but it'll be interesting to see how theyre implementing this (tbh, unless you move across many different xbox, I think it'll be unused)

To the redesign of the dash, what a lot of wasted space! (as well as the suckers who bought themes!)

lol i hope its that fucking quick. my dashboard atm seems very sluggish. apart from that i couldnt give a flying fuck what it looked like as long as i can find the games and the friends
