Supposedly the demo is nothing like the feel of te finished game. The demo has been designed to be heavily action orientated and scripted, which is unlike the final games pace.

So expect the final game to be a little better paced.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake,
You just keep on trying till you run out of
    cake.

I liked the pace was more interested in how the mechanics worked independantly controlling the 2 demon arms, and dual wielding was ok once you figured the controls out. I liked the different uses of the demon arms 1 grabbs the other just fucks shit up. Picking up car doors etc whilst shooting and eating hearts all at once works pretty well.
Graphics looked nice a little dark but upped the brightness a little to solve that problem. I was a little dissapointed with the darkling though i liked the different types and hunting for their kit was a bit of fun.

I would say i am more willing to buy it launch day as a result shame the co operative element wasn't given a demo

Just finished playing this and I'm impressed. Definitely worth getting. I also liked the cel-shading. The idea of a more evenly paced game also entices me. Cash permitting I think this could be a preorder for me

Finally got around to playing it after having it downloaded for nearly a week - it's pretty damn good actually - I like how you can wield guns and Darkness powers at the same time, which was a flaw with the original I felt. It also seems good how they've streamlined things, and the tentacle whip/slash move is a laugh.

Did anyone else find the voice of the Evil Scarred Dude who has you imprisoned really familiar? I'd swear it was John thingy, he played Lex Luthor's dad in the early seasons of Smallville. And I was suprised to find out it was Mike Patton of Faith No More who voiced the Darkness. So, all in all, I probably be getting this at some point.

I wonder why they modeled a character on one of your eight brothers?
