Thread: Darksiders II: Death Lives Trailer

Mmmm-mmm, you can taste the emo! Still, having Michael Wincott voice Death is a good move. It's a shame he didn't return for Halo 3 as Truth but that's a tangent for another day.

The 1st Darksiders was a great game missed by a lot of people..
Based (Almost nicked, one might say) on the Zelda dungeon idea, it was still a good game, enjoyable plot of sillyness, but real progression as levels where beaten....

Even if D2 where a carbon copy remake of the first, it would still be a good game...
Full price purchases? nope.. But certainly one to pick up when cheap (which was the realm the 1st fell into & thus part of its poor sales figures)

So it's a great game but you shouldn't buy it new? Now there's an incentive for THQ to make sequel

Which is exactly the problem a lot of games/developers are facing with additional tacked on functions like MP on a game that doesnt need it..

If you want to spend top dollar on it, feel free. But in the rush of most gamers who can only see 'this weeks new releases', its a large number of games that slip past them.
