Yet again the latest in the constant stream of “Blu-Ray for Xbox 360″ rumours has been debunked. The question i keep asking myself here is,”Who gives a toss anyway?”.
PS3 owners inevitably play the Blu-Ray card every time they get involved in a, “my dads bigger than your dad” discussion with Xbox 360 owners, but they have been royally stitched up and don’t even know it.
The last time i looked the Xbox 360 was primarily supposed to be a games console, not a movie player or a media station or whatever other label you want to come up with.
What do Sony expect you to do? Throw away all the dvds that you collected over the years (and probably only watched once each) and replace them with blu-ray discs that cost a small fortune? Buy a bigger tv to watch them all on? Buy a fancy surround sound system as well? All these new expensive gadgets that are also made by Sony?
And you only started down this road because you wanted to play Gran Turismo 5 (which still hasn’t properly seen the light of day i might add). Don’t be a mug all your life.
Stick your Blu-Ray up your jumper.
