Personally im not sure if the Maddie reference in the Halo3 trailer (see the pic above) was deliberate, or just a tragic coincidence (although im leaning towards the former).
But what is out of order is Bungies pathetic attempt to explain/fob off the situation:
“As always, all of the characters in our games are fictional. Any similarities between real life and the characters in our games are purely coincidental. That said, this is both an unfortunate and unintended coincidence.”
A bit of sympathy wouldn’t have gone amiss. Poor show.
