Battlefield: Bad Company 2 Multiplayer Beta

Oh my god people, MW2 may be about to be blown out of the water. EA have confirmed the existence of a Battlefield: Bad Company 2 BETA programme and its start date is close, really close in fact, November 19th!

The BETA was leaked by US retailer Gamestop and was promptly wiped from the face of the internet by an angry EA, it is defiantly for PS3 and likely but unconfirmed for 360.

An EA spokesperson confirmed the existence of the BETA and told everybody to expect more news later in the week.

So there you have it folks, if this is indeed out at the stated time and is for 360 aswell as PS3 (I can?t imagine it wouldn?t be), then MW2 will quickly be relegated to also-ran in terms of my time.

Rest assures I’ll be watching this story develop like a hawk, in the US this is a Gamestop exclusive for people who pre-order their copy within a set time limit, it only follows that this will be a GAME exclusive over here with similar pre-ordering pre-conditions, it won’t put me off that’s for sure!

I’ve got a few bookmarked on my laptop, will post ‘em tonight.

There’s the official release trailers, the limited edition perks trailer and a leaked heli gunship trailer too.

Rest assured, this IS going the be the definitive multiplayer game on 360 once it’s out!

Fuck the graphics mate, something like COD4 is better looking than Battlefield 1943 but I know which one I’d pick, Battlefield every time. That series has been the pinnacle of multiplayer ever since 1942!
