Thread: Assassins Creed 2 & Left 4 Dead 2 out Friday 20/11/09

While the Launch of Modern Warfare 2 had titles such as Mass effect, bioshock, Dead rising 2, and about two hundred others running into the middle of next year,
Assassins Creed 2 & Left 4 Dead 2 have taken the brave step of releasing only 10 days after the most successful launch in the history of entertainment "Modern Warfare 2".

The duo though, don't just intend to fight there way onto your christmas lists, They're also lining up to be alongside th elike sof Modern Warfare 2 & Forza 3 as the biggest releases this year.

As Reviews start to come in thick & fast, what looked like the impossible, is now very much a reality,

Assassins Creed 2 has so far received 33 reviews, and only 4 of those fall below the 85% mark.
Left 4 Dead 2 has equally impressed the critics, with 28 Critic reviews, and only 3 of those falling below the 85% mark.

Metacritic has (as of 2pm 19/11/09)
got Assassins Creed 2 with an overall of 91/100
and Left 4 dead 2 with an almost as impressive 90/100

So if you thought you're wallet had taken a pounding after the modern warfare price-hiking, There's 2 more to add onto your list.

Both are released tomorrow, And will commence battle for your xbox 360's DVD Drive,
Remember, There's plenty of Left 4 Dead fans here at Xbox Friends so be sure to keep an eye on our forums for get-togethers and co-op games

I was gonna try and sort something out for L4D release but will probably leave it a while and get it in a couple of weeks. If anyone else is interested let me know i'll sort something out

I'm getting both especially with such impressive reviews.

Assassins creed 2, is on its way (could be at home now) but should deff be here either Tomorrow or Saturday.

and i'll be picking up L4D2 tomorrow

all I need to do now is pull myself away from MW2 long enough to play them

Looking forward to AC 2, loved the first one and will be getting this for sure. Was tempted to get L4D2 as well but not even played L4D1 yet, is it worth picking up?

Oh yes, L4D was a great game with the right group of ppl, very addictive and a good laugh. I'd go straight to L4D2 if your going to get one. Impressive reviews so far, basically bigger and better. It's one i'll be picking up between now and xmas.

I was hoping to get AC2 tomoro but due to my recent run of bad luck I now officially have ?23.52 left to do me for the next week and a half.

Fookin raging. So far over the past week I have had to replace....
my laptop,
my RAM on my PC,
my house fone.
My microwave.
2 new headlight bulds on the car.
1reverse light,
1 interior bulb.
1 electric window motor.
and replace the sump on the motor to.

If my luck doesnt change im gonna find a rafter in my garage and start swinging.

I guess i'm gonna get AC2 at the end of the month then.

I'm renting Assassins Creed 2 should get it tomorrow.

Coolio, loving AC2, much better than the 1st one. Might pick L4D 1 pre owned over the weekend me thinks. Have seen it for ?15 in my local GS.
