The Games of 2010 begin NOW!

While Britain might be frozen, the Games industry is just starting to thaw.
Tomorrow we have two big games landing,

Click Here to Read more & view the Videos about Darksiders and Bayonetta

    ------------------------------------
(Scores obtained from Metacritic.com and correct as of 07/01/10)

Both have been receiving high reviews from critics worlwide with Darksiders,
    receiving a not-too-shabby 84/100 average from 34 reviews, and obtaining a perfect 100% from 2 of them.

Bayonetta However has averaged a sweet 93/100 from 34 reviews.
with 7 critics giving it a perfect 100% score. Making it the joint 9th best Xbox 360 game to date.
on par with Gears of War 2, Street Fighter IV, Fallout 3 & Braid.

Penned by legendary comic book artist Joe Madureira (X-Men, Battle Chasers, The Ultimates), Darksiders is set in a Post-Apocalyptic demon-ravaged world where evil forces have prematurely brought about the end of the time. Originally sent to oversee the destruction of Earth, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse have been betrayed by their master, stripped of their powers and cast down to Earth. Players take on the role of WAR -- the first of the Four Horsemen -- as he embarks on a brutal quest of vengeance and revenge against the forces that betrayed him with the help of his phantom steed RUIN. The first title from new THQ studio Vigil Games, Darksiders: Wrath of War features open-world exploration, a deep combat system and a huge arsenal of modern and mythical weapons. [THQ]

Bayonetta is a stylish and cinematic action game directed by creator Hideki Kamiya. A member of an ancient witch clan and possessing powers beyond the comprehension of mere mortals, Bayonetta faces-off against countless ethereal enemies, many reaching epic proportions, in a game of 100% pure, unadulterated all-out action. Outlandish finishing moves are performed with balletic grace as Bayonetta flows from one fight to another. With over-the-top action taking place in stages that are a veritable theme park of exciting attractions, Bayonetta pushes the limits of the action genre, bringing to life its fast-paced, dynamic climax combat. Will you be getting any of the above.,
I'll be picking up Bayonetta, and might be persuaded to get Darksiders at a later date.

    Last comment = FAIL...

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on the Wii is an awesome game and a match for anything the 360 has produced so far.

Just a pity there aren't any other good games on the Wii...

Would like to buy both but lack of funds atm, Darksiders looks like my kinda game. Will pop in Asda whilst doing some shopping and see how much it is. Gonna hold off until Mass Effect 2 anyways, kinda want that abit more than Bayonetta.
