Thread: Modern Warfare 2 New Map Pack Dated, Detailed & Priced

According to Infinity Wards own reports up to 20 million of 25 million current Modern Warfare 2 users (wow that’ a lot) no longer derive pleasure from blasting people hiding in the cockpit (lolz) or on top of the crane. Well there has been a breakthrough cure and it’s coming to Xbox Live on March 30th.

The cure takes the form of 5 new maps, a mix of rehashed COD4 maps and new ones.

And because they know this will sell like nobodies business they have put the price at a sky high 1200 space dollars. Ouch.

Please no bashing of Call of Duty below, this is merely an informative article for those who still wish to play the game.

To tell u the truth looking at both i would go for free on BFBC2 which is a better game anyway, and i dont really want to pay 1200 points when u get 3 new maps and 2 maps that i paid for on COD 4 a year ago

I think they're getting a fair amount of profit on that.

I'm looking forward to the extra maps, but will wait till I'm done with BFBC2.

BFBC 2 all the way for me too, 1200 is way too expensive tho im pretty sure everyone who plays MW 2 online will be getting it. Overpriced or not!!

It is way overpriced but like you say anyone thats really into that game will pick those maps up for sure

According to Microsoft's figures, the DLC pack was downloaded over one million times in 24 hours, surpassing 2.5 million units within a week. All at 1200MSP a pop.
