Thread: XBF Design a T shirt Competition

Also we are running a competition from Tonight 11.59pm till Monday May 31st asking members to design their own T shirt.

Rules

keep it bold and preferably just use one colour
No use of any copyrighted material is allowed (it will get us into trouble)
Submissions via private message (to Steve) or emails with "tshirt" as the subject title to shirts@Xboxfriends.co.uk

The winner is decided by community Poll.

The winner will receive his or her T shirt - we'll get one printed up and sent to you.

Do NOT show your submissions publicly in the forum as that will give away the surprise. Its supposed to be anonymous so that there will be no accusations of bias when the voting starts, this means that admins can enter as well.

It doesnt have to be finished or polished (we can tidy it up later), but try to scribble something in mspaint or even if you just write down what you want to put on it - all submissions will be accepted.

The one rule to remember is that EVERY submission must have our url (xboxfriends.co.uk) in it somewhere or at the very least be xbox or gaming related in some way.

Any profits made from the shop will go straight into the admin costs of the site and for funding future projects
All copyright belongs to us, in other words if you submit something we can then use your design in our shop in any way we like!

Admins are allowed to enter and win the prize - except for Steve. He'll stay out of it and will be the voice of reason, in the event of a dispute his decision is final.

Oh and we might enter some more rules as we think them up - just in case we've missed something.

So if anyone wants an official shirt for the Eurogamer meet - here's your chance to decide what goes on it!

What a great idea, I have already designed and printed my own t-shirt and it does get some good looks

It wont stop me entering this though haha!

not very good at computer but i think XBF should be like MW2 with green writing, a bit like the very first teaser we had of MW2

i think it should say xboxfriends.co.uk on it, people will know we are a clan with a website etc, not just mates that play xbox there are some real thicko's out there that need everything spelt out to them. this is a great advert for us. i think it should be blue with white writing. i think we should stay away from promoting any particular game as there are many games that are played by us on here.

Gamertags should appear somewhere on it too, give it that personal touch!

yes defo gamertags on there. we could have a squad no on the back, with our gamertags across the top and then xboxfriends.co.uk on the front with a small logo above, football shirt design but more classy

We need to find out about Printing on the reverse.

If we can do that, then we can have a simple design on the front (ala above competition)

and on the Back we can have something like Xboxfriends.co.uk with our gamertag underneath..

But that will require a new design per person for the rear, possibly extra cost too,...

I think for London, when we're there we'll know who's who mostly, so the important thing is having a T-shirt even if only a single design,

you can have printing on the back, and even on the sleeves. You can also have up to 3 colours I've just discovered.
We can't do individual shirts with different names on, that's a bit too complicated.

in that case then we need a huge square on the front with photo's of all of us on it, like a massive collage or our avatars and then on the back xboxfriends.co.uk

alternatively in the style of an i love new york t-shirt we could have we love ford's mum - every night, people would love that
