Thread: Fable III Limited Edition Revealed

Microsoft today uncovered it’s plans for Fable III's Limited Edition, including a look at the stuff you’re meant to pay extra for.

The contents appear to be a rather standard range on in-game unlockables, additional quests and a whole extra region. You also get a set of Fable 3 playing cards for some reason which I have yet to fully comprehend.

The full contents is as follows:
- A new quest: Uncover the mystery of the haunted forests of Silverpines and earn the legendary sword, Wolfsbane, deadly against wolves and balverines.
Exclusive location: Unlock a new region, ideal for settling down with a family and discovering new treasures.
- “Fable III” playing cards: Created by Lionhead, these cards depict every type of character in “Fable III,” including Heroes, royals, rebels and villains from across Albion and beyond.
- Guild Seal Coin: The coin features a Good side (blue) and Evil side (red) to assist players in making critical decisions that will impact the fate of the world forever.
- A new dog breed: Renowned for its loyalty, the Boxer is a brave canine companion worthy of greatest Queens and Kings.
- One unique outfit: Unearth one male and female outfit from the mysterious, faraway land of Aurora, a new destination in your “Fable III” adventures.

Fable III is coming this Christmas for the astronomical price of £59.99 for the Limited Edition.

Fable 1 & 2 did not live up to Mr Molyneux’s hype (what could, he’s a hype machine) so I’m not exactly getting my hopes up for this one. Any Fable lovers out there please feel free to contradict me.

I concur with Joe ,BK is a tool and not a good one like an adjustable spanner,and I will try to get the Limited Edition

Loved Fable 2 so will be getting this....hopefully.

I enjoyed Fable and Fable 2, so will more than likely buy the third.

£59.99 seems like a reasonable price for the limited edition. Although I rarely buy them myself, and shan't be getting this one.
