The rapidly approaching release of Crackdown 2 will seem a bit shorter it seems as a demo will be appearing on Xbox Live Marketplace next week, well ahead of the game release.

It is scheduled for a 21st June release and will (weirdly) include 100 gamerscore.

The demo includes ten 10 point achievements that you can unlock. If you play the demo and earn them all, then once you pop in the retail disc, they will unlock automatically and be added to your gamerscore. This is a lot like some of the XBLA titles handle their early achievements, giving you a prompt if you want to go ahead and unlock an achievement by buying the full game.

So you may as well play the demo to death on the off chanced that you'll buy the full game anyway.

With 4 player co-op this game has certainly piqued my interest.
