The the Hardened and Prestige Editions of Call of Duty: Black Ops were announced yesterday and both come packaged with a card entitling you to redeem four co-op maps (yeah additional content for “special editions”, original). What you may not know is that said maps are in fact updated versions of those featured in World at War's Nazi Zombies mode.Originally Posted by Treyarch Dev Team
Whether the Zombie mode will be in the game as standard, is unknown and I may venture that this will probably not sway anyone one way or t’other about buying Black Ops, I personally at no point while playing MW2 thought to myself that the game could be substantially improved by the addition of Zombies.
Even more worrying to me is the idea that the Spec ops co-op missions from MW2 (a genuinely great game mode) could be cut in favour of Zombies.
Call of Duty: Black Ops is due for release on November 9th, 2010.
