true, but la noire will drop in price...
Theres a shit-tonne (yes, a new entry for the metric system) of DLC coming for it..
R* has said before release that they designed loads of cases and because of the case structure of the game, things can just be added continually to the game..
Over on kotaku, they had a vid of some guy playing through one of the early cases, (an actress driving off the cliff in a car & hitting a sign), & they showed two ways of interrogating some woman who was involved in it.. Its possible they edited it badly, but the talking expressions between lines was very much off.
On line was spoken normally, the next using shouty anger.. & then back to normal..
Edit : And heres that vid :

I must admit, I am psyched for LA Noir. With my currently un-loved copy of Brink (I'd been waiting too long and too eagerly, it could never live up) to trade in, Friday will see me solving cases like a mother-fucker. I've always loved a story driven game and this one is looking to be terribly, terribly shiny.
Just back from HMV and GAME, if you trade in Brink on Friday you get LA Noire for five quid. Can't be bad to that. Plus game are giving some DLC stuff (extra missions I believe) for pre-order. HMV are throwing in LA Confidential on Blu Ray and a gun unlock. Hope this has not been mentioned yet, its been a long time since I was on the site.
have played about 2 hours so far, have already got 180g and i must say i think it is brilliant. i think some people might think it is slow and linear but that to me is what makes it so good. the story is shaping up nicely. I know what i am going to be playing on all weekend.
Feisty one you are!
