i think this game is destined for failure... no matter how good it is, i bet people wont buy it. people must be weary of zombies, it feels very tired. thats probably why valve havent done anything about L4D3.
this might be good, but i think it will crash in price so its one to pick up on the cheap
How to turn an interesting trailer, into a generic FPS shooter.
Oddly enough, as Joe said, the trailer was made by a different group of people who had no idea what the game was going to be like..
That family in the cinematic trailer? they don't exist in the game (not even a mention of them!)
Mixture of Dead Rising & 'generic FPS' from the looks of it, I'll be it gets a rating of 7 on release 'looks nice, but ultimately a plodding affair of A to B instructions given by side characters you never see much of again'
Also, whos leaving baseball bats with nails premade on this island?
Lurgi, I dont think youll have long to wait, but Personally, Id stick with the 10 quid point.
That gameplay video contains a section near the start where a guy statically stands next to a workspace where you can build the weapons (by picking up say a baseball bat & bag of nails)
Actually, all the guys statically stand around away from zombies, safe in the knowledge that zombies will not be able to attack them (unless theyre part of the next scripted zombie attack sequence)
Somehow, I think that game might have been a slow burner IF that original trailer hadnt been released.. As it is, it is set up for massive failure.
