Thread: Portal 2 tie-in comic now available

For fans of the original Portal game, Valve and IGN have just started publishing a tie-in comic which bridges the gap between the first game and the upcoming Portal 2. The comic promises to shed light on Aperture Science, the player character Chell, everyone's favourite psychotic computer GLADos and on a previously unseen character, "Rat Man"(think back to "The cake is a lie.")

The first 14 pages can be found here with the next installment going up on Monday at some point.

Portal 2 is due to be released on April 22nd.

Whilst I cant be arsed looking through IGN's comics (or IGN for that matter), I I do like the advertisising campaign for Portal 2 thus far, in partic is that 3rd vid.... expertly pointing out the current(?) trend for same object, different texture (but of the same frigging textures)...

I dont know if P2 will do it, (game or DLC).. but theyre actually in the perfect position to pull apart the majorty of failing in pretty much FPS out there...

War game? well, you want jungle, or desert decals for your weapon..
Futuristic based? you want shiny & lasers on sharks heads
mediveal? some hay scatterd about.

Self contaned lab based tests... Could easily take the piss out of many of other good (or bad) selling games.. Will Valve do that? unlikely?!?! (certainly DLC style fuck abouts probably PC based knowing MS policies)

So much to like, so little to see (in game that is).... this is like the cock tease that promises a blowjob.... but then after the job you find its a catfish thats been noshing on you.
