TC has always been quick to jump on periphery. RSV2 has voice commands and camera thing, endwar is voice commands. the kinect tech i think will be very much the same, using a controller for most things with added voice commands, and perhaps hand signals or similar, while it can still be done (probably better and easier) with a controller.

And xbox.com is working now..

Ice T has joined Cliffy B on stage to hype up GOW3.
They're doing 2 player co-op..

Theres what looks like a proper massive brumack in this too.. looks like an impressive boss fight! - no idea where this part of the game fits into the larger story.


Crytek are running a demo reel (pre-rendered video) of their new game. set in Rome - wait, wasn't this teased at last years E3?

Control a carriage using kinect controls.. The guy on stage looks completely bored by the entire thing.
now hes throwing fireballs at people in a bored manner.. This is going to be rubbish!

It looks like the kinect part works for it is though.. a question is whether that genuine or premade & just being acted out? (a la the original unveiling of kinect)
Definite departure away from Fable 2 & 3.. Looks more like a 90's lightgun game.. but without the lightgun

Kinect Disneyland
Disney are hyping kinect, with a virtual tour of disneyland! - go on Peter Pan's flight - oh god, kids acting on stage as they 'fly through a waterfall' - defo one for the kids this.
The girl on stage is rubbish, cannot act. she wont be back in her acting school after this travesty.

And now another game. floating through doors and collecting coins.. with two new kids.. I know that 1st girl was bad, but why so quick to replace them so soon?
It just looks pre-rendered and quite frankly awful.. (the characters on the game wherent following what the kids where doing..
and wheres the bit where Goofy molests me? I want that!
The audience didn't even bother to applause it more than a small politeness. - Definitely avoid unless your some sort of Disney mentalist

& Star wars Kinect.. huge cheer from the audience.. but it looks like a load of cutscenes, no-ones playing it.
umm. George showed you could have nice graphics but nothing underneath... pretty cutscenes do not concern me, I want that gameplay... not excuses..

I remember this.. This is Mad Dog McCree from the 90's... and it is set in the prequel era...

And it ends with 2 hooded people each carrying 2 red lightsabres, standing in what looks like Bespin's Carbon Freezing Chamber?
It appears the wait for a good star wars game on the 360 will continue.

And what now could be my favourite bit of the show :
Sesame Street! (for kinect) - once upon a monster.

Aimed at the younger audience, Tim Schafer of Double Fine introduces it (because he's the developer of it)
Play as Elmo or Cookie Monster in co-op and scare the friendly monsters as you play your part inside of a actual fairy story..
Do the Tiger Face | Lemon Face acting method to get the monster to talk to you, and then wave you arms in the air to pop bubbles!(not Michael Jackson's monkey)...

Seems the original idea for this came about when his 3 year old asked if he's making a game for her..
So This is the licensed version of it.. - looks fun if you have small kids, Play a game with the pre-school kids and teach them to count, read and pull scary faces for when your out in public so they embarrass you


Now theyre hyping up Kinect, by a guy with sunglasses... indoors.. Get off the stage you tool.
Anyway, hes talking about 'Kinect FunLabs'
Lots of minigames playable using kinect.. Most of which where included as part of the SDK to developers. - Theyre just now releasing it to the public.

Create an avatar that looks like you! - it recognises your ugly mug, hair, clothing, body shape..
and okay, it looks a bit like her. is it live?
I daresay some people will have very odd avatars when it goes live.. (cat faces)

Kinect Finger Tracking.
Drawing in 3D (somehow) by selecting brushes based on what your fingers are doing.
Looks interesting, but more of a simple showcase of what kinect could do if developers knew what the fuck kinect can be used for!

Object scanning (this was in the original E3 announce, but hasn't been seen from since)
Scan an object front & back and it creates a 3D model of it inside of your xbox.. 3D dildos anyone?
Looks pointless.. you cant do anything with that object.

These all look to be test things they've just fleshed out to make a set of small minigames..
I think its more of an idea to try and show the actual power that kinect is potentially usable for, rather than the perceived aspect as it currently is.
Its 'The Next Wave of Kinect' apparently.

and its Golf. Voice controlled to change clubs, motion controlled.. Tiger Woods From EA will be worried.
And next in the season, is Gridiron, or American Football.. Motion Controlled, and the two people on stage are doing more chatting than playing.. looks like its very basic and frankly.. crap..
And that was that... looks shit.
Hope there's more in that, 2 games looks like a shit deal (especially that American football one, truly terrible).

Next up : Harmonix Nerd.. bringing out Dance Central 2.
Dance Central 1 songs can be imported into DC2.
Simultaneous Multi-player dance offs. You'll know if your interested in this or not..
The footage from the stream here isn't showing the two people on stage and the game footage in the background.. Cant tell how accurate it is, but those two people look very choreographed.

COD DLC will be coming first to 360..
and it ends with a trailer for Halo 4. The chief is awake.. and he's pissed.

Great! No more wanking in front of the tv anymore.

The weapon customisation for ghost recon looked really good especially the voice rec, I'm a fan of Fable but the new one looks a bit shit if the entire game is going to be on rails, don't they know it's not a shooter on the PS1, it's on the 360 at least allow some character movement and Gears 3 looks like it should be amazing though it didn't seem like they were actually playing and it seemed like the game was set to easy, pah bunch of wimps, hardcore all the way, although I will admit Insane is a bitch

Yeah rehashed Halo and a Bungieless Halo4 - brilliant. I hereby announce that i wont be dragged in and end up buying either of these.

I guess they are treading water until they announce new hardware next year for next Xmas.
