Thread: Gears of War 3 Leaked

An unfinished portion of Gears of war 3 has been uploaded onto various torrent sites over the past few days causing quite a shit storm over at Epic and Microsoft. A statement issued by Microsoft says "We have seen the reports of Gears of War 3 content being propped on the Web and working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation." Microsoft have moved to assure gamers that "This content is not from a final build and is not representative of what fans will enjoy when the game launches."

Epic Design Director Cliff Bleszinski directed Twitter followers to the statement yesterday and said, "Here. Please stop asking me about it. Upsetting enough to hear and making more news about it only draws attention. Sad."

Youtube is awash with videos of large chunks of the campaign and numerous spoiler. Be warned many are core story elements so avoid them unless you really cant wait

Oh dear, well I'll be avoiding them as I'd like to play through the campaign myself but this is not entirely surprising, games are always getting leaked before release, particularly big blockbusters.

I am the same mate i wont be watching or reading anything more. I would much rather play through without knowing whats is going on. Would ruin the experience especially with such a story led game.

Its Epic mate so you know its going be colosal shite with a side of Ham and some cheese mixed in. Dont forget a dollop of staring into the distance and grunting. Lots of grunting..

But we've got used to these leaks occuring - just a shame that it's happened to another 'AAA' title.

I'm the same - i'll not be looking at anything and just wait for it's release.
