Thread: Gears of War 3 - Horde 2.0 trailer

There's a brand new trailer out for Horde 2.0. Watch it, I command you.


Pretty tasty, eh? Apart from the Ice-T track dedicated to it - that's a little bit pants.
Horde 2.0 is definitely one of the reasons I'm getting GOW3 (apart from the fact I am, apparently, the only person who actually enjoys the GOW single-player story) and with the new, bigger enemies and strategy elements, it's going to be bloody good fun. Roll on September!

looks like they are still sticking with the same maps for both MP and horde (something halo should have done IMO), im sure i saw the checkout map from the beta in there. i thought with the new horde 2.0 they might go long the lines of having different maps for horde... and probably not enough of them (im looking at you, halo reach)

I suppose I could have done more to warn people about the music...

Gears 3 Horde and Campaign is going to be the main attraction for me, online multiplayer however will not be what i will be playing unless they put objectives like they did in the beta

There will be objective gametypes but i am the same minty online holds little interest for me, i prefer Horde but no reason we cant have lots of private matches

we the added variable of spending credits to buy upgrades to hold the horde at bay, i think that private matches are the way to go. you know that playing on a normal server some douchbag will spend them on something s##t that will benefit noone and get you all f###ed

would be good to see some more beast mode. i know alot was shown of this when the first previews of gears came through. it just seems that this has somewhat beeen forgotten about
