Thread: Dead Island

Does anyone else play Dead Island?

It's not the best game but it can be fun, especially in co-op. I was wondering if people who already own this or are looking to buy it might want to get together regularly and kill lots of manky zombies. If so let me know and we can organise something

I have it, will def be playing it once I've finished Halo and Battlefield campaign will gladly get some co op sorted

Excellent. I'll see if we can get a complete 4 person squad. I'm pretty sure I've seen at least 1 other person playing it

I've managed to get one more player for the co-op. Anyone else interested in killing zombies? You get to run them over in trucks so it's worth it if you have a tendency towards virtual road rage!

Its one on my hit list to pick up now that its A ) mostly bug fixed B ) dropped down in price a fair amount..

Well if lovefilm/royal mail get their asses in gear then I should have this arrive tomorrow on rental, shall play it by myself for a bit to get used to it. But if you see me on it then chuck me an invite and I shall join you for a bit of zombie killing fun.

Is there a regular night when people are free for some Dead Island zombie-bashing fun? Perhaps a Tuesday or Friday? I don't think anything else is played regularly on those nights.

I haven't been online much recently because of a rather nasty infection (nothing STI-related, alas, so all discomfort and no fun) but should be on more now that I have returned to relative health. Skyrim also keeps grabbing me by the throat and demanding its attention (just gotta love that dragon killing). However, I intend to kill some zombies this evening from about 8:30pm if anyone is around and wants to assist me in bludgeoning the undead to total death.

Hadouken, how did you find your Dead Island experience when you rented the game? Is it something you'd consider investing in as an addition to your game collection? There is something oddly charming about the game, apart from when one of the very big zombies fails to die and insists on smashing you to pieces!

Friday is Halo Tuesday is free though if you want to grab that and stick it in the calendar?
