i agree with Beaker. putting up a post asking for players is the way to go. you did it for RSV2 and that worked really well. What ever happened to that? still go mission cheevos to get along with the 1000 kills.
On the subject of gears, ive found it harder to get players together to play gears. Its hampered by campaign and horde only being 4/5 players. MP isnt really that popular unless you get 10 players. otherwise it turns into a shotgun whore fest. think that the latest cheevos for gears are going to be a grind as you need to play MP to get a few of them. Minh execution and 10 the games played as a member of zeta (you really have to go for both cheevos at the same time otherwise you may end up being put on the wrong side)
I know that some players still havent got the 4 player campaign cheevo yet and thats for the main campaign not the recent DLC raams shadow.
I'm one of those people (due to my shifts at work) that can't keep to a regular game night but will play when I can.
I can't see why we don't keep the nights as they are? (Monday - BF / Wed - Gears / Fri - Halo / Sun - L4D)
The problem we are currently experiencing (as I see it) is simply due to so many 'AAA' titles all being released on top of each other in such a short period of time, you are therefore limited to what you can play at any one time.
Once we get over Christmas & New Year it will drop off and we could be back on here posting about 'what shall we do now!'
Maybe a suggestion is - over Christmas and New Year we find out what games everyone has and are looking to finish?
I'm not talking about everyone listing every single game they have but those that are near to completion and need the usual boosting to finish off : Examples: Rainbow 6 - Vegas and Vegas 2 / Gears and Gears 2 - again, these are only examples but give you a rough idea.
As Bazza said R6V2 was a good laugh and we had a large enough group of people to get the job done - there are still plenty of online cheevos to complete and there is nothing to stop us maybe having evening of it again?

Well I seem to have a knack of killing off threads! Now that is either a good thing or bad - all depending on the subject matter...
Anyway on this related subject I was thinking that maybe in the new year (which seems to the usual time Steve asks for any new ideas to freshen up the website) how about some of these suggestions:
- Adding a boosting section (allows people to list what achievement, how, when etc)
- Create a new COD section (keeps it seperate from Battlefield)
- Create a new Zombie area (for all those undead type games)
Yes, I know the boosting idea is taken from True Achievements but why not give it a try (in some kind of format) when it works for them?
As I was saying - just ideas and thought i'd post them while they were fresh!
I think you all do a excellent job here and I wouldn't have half the fun I have if it wasn't for joining the site and meeting you guys.
