Thread: Game night shuffle

I was thinking about this last night, it doesn't apply to me much because I struggle with most nights but things like the Battlefield night has been a Monday for ages now (although it is every night at the min haha).

Is there anybody that can't make a game night they want to make? Even when I was working less I always worked late on a Monday so stopped the BF night etc.

It might be worth having a shuffle in the new year, see if different nights can include different people, or it might be a case of "piss off we are used to it this way"

I always thought we could do with different games night but in order of week rather than mixing it up so every week is different from the other weekend

i dunno. BF3 doesnt really need a night, its not as if its hard to round up people to play it any night if you want to. i assume its not too hard to get people for gears either, although i dont have it.

what other games are popular atm? not really anything to warrant a night every week. everything else is arranged sporadically through the forums, and a day is agreed upon there. if someone cant make it then they can say in the forum and it can be changed. it works well enough.

and anyone can arrange anything they want dont forget, i think sometimes newer members or maybe just shyer members dont do it. but if you want to play something you need only ask. the worst that can happen is no-one has it or wants to play it, no harm done. you might just find someone or a group of people who share you're love for MP hannah montana and will play with you every night

I struggle most nights, could you not have a Who Are Newbs Knobheads Experts Ranked Skilled night? or W.A.N.K.E.R.S thread somewhere. ( don't be offended anyone please I'm not taking the piss )

Ok seriously, any night of the week is difficult for me, what with having sixteen kids to feed when I get home, it's a hard life being a goatherd, ah shit off topic again.

So yea anyway, I personally don't mind what game is played on what night, i'm shit at them on a monday or a friday or any other day of the week, just check out my stats on BF3 sheesh.

The best way to do it is put it to a poll. You won't be able to please all of the people all of the time (or in my case any of the people any of the time) so just pick the most popular 1 or 2 nights.

While making it move to other random nights is great for spur of the moment players, lots of people work shifts or plan their lives so need game nights to be more organised. If people know BF3 is monday (or whatever single night gets chosen) then they know when to come back each week.

I did mean the same night each week, but we have BF Monday, Gears Wednesday and Halo Friday at the min, I was on about switching them around for another year or something just incase a die hard Gears fan works Wednesday etc. If nobody likes the idea of change then thats fine by me, I can't make any night soon lmao!

This dude makes a lot of sense. Either way, a poll is probably the best way forward.
