Have you heard/seen his commentary tracks for his films?
Nahw, this is where I punch this guy and then I say something funny.. Yeasch, there I did it..
Its like watching a film with that deaf narration mode thing enabled.

This decision is proving tough...
I am seriousily considering the xbox 360 version over the PS3 at present for the following reasons:
1. Multiplayer. I know if I play this on 360 having a great bunch of lads (& the odd lass?) to link up with to play co-op missions is not going to be a problem (thanks to xbox friends). But on PS3? sadly i dont think any of my mates will be into it...sucks i know.
2. Kinect. Never thought i would be saying this but from the nifty gameplay demos i have seen it appears to make combat very free-flowing. Voice commands to change weapons/activate powers/interact with the environment all seem to speed up combat - essentially because you no longer need to bring up the 'wheel' of choices & pause proceedings, selection of powers and sending squadmates to specific locations all looks pretty instantaneous.
3. By all acounts both versions this time will be graphically identical. When I purchased ME2 on PS3 bioware had time to integrate a new renderring engine (due to later date of release) which really boosted the visual quality of the game - for ME3 all versions are released at the same time.
So if I am convinced by the above why am i still finding this a tough decision? well:
4. My PS3 game save... yup i really did save everyone and had levelled my shepard up as high as he could go - that will carry over as XP into mass effect 3 and will give me a wider choice of squad. I could... play ME2 all over again on 360... but that might prove a little tedious having completed it on insanity setting on PS3.
5. N7 collectors edition. At moment of writing this GAME is only selling the collectors edition of the game on PS3... I have absolutely no idea why & to me this is very unfair on every 360 owner out there. Wake up EA and do something about this lousy situation - Collectors edition is available in both formats in the states - so why not here? I assume some of this content will be available as future DLC but prob not on day of release eh?
Anyway thats where my thought process ends at present. What a connudrum...

Regarding the N7 Collectors edition, both Gamestation and GAME sell it (but since they're both owned by the same group...) but after asking in both stores, I found out that the Xbox version sold out really quickly - it's the same with the websites. I was told to A) keep an eye on both websites to see if it comes back in stock and B) if not, try a store on the day of launch, it's possible someone who put down a deposit has cancelled their order.
This is intensely irritating because I added it to a Gamestation web-basket but kept putting it off because I'm a bit skint this month - I forgot that the money only goes out on delivery! My brain almost rage-quit on the front of my skull when I realised that.
As for getting it on the box, if you've already played it through etc on the PS3, i'd probably be inclined to get 3 on the same console - since it's not primarily a multiplayer game, you don't need to worry about missing games nights.
After much deliberation, I went for the Xbox version - I know that may not make much sense from a continuity (game save) point of view - but for me it primarily comes down to which system I'm going to have more fun with the game on, from what I have seen & read about ME3 multiplayer sounds really good fun and so does the kinect functionality and both those aspects for me mean Xbox should be the platform of choice! Look forward to playing this online with you all!
