Thread: Dead Space 2

Not sure who else has this but just figured I'd put the feelers out. Basically I've just bought this for the bargain price of ?8 and was wondering if possibly 7 other people may also have it. Merely for doing a few levels of the multiplayer element. Figured it could be good for a laugh and for those left4dead junkies something a little bit different.

Not quite zombies but then neither are the infected in Left4Dead. But dead human bodies with rewritten DNA against a team of armoured remaining humans. What say you?

i picked this up for ?8 too in gamestation along with crackdown 2 and borderland GoTYE for the same price.

Ill be up for some dead space mp action. just need to square it with the boss, as the only real game night i have is wednesdays, all the others are just plain oppurtunism.

loved the first dead space, i couldnt play it with the lights off though

Might be the same for me soon enough with regards gaming nights. With a second and final kid on the way my time will be very much taken up by that. Will still be on for Left4Dead nights but other than that it'll be I imagine see me when you do.

Snap! I got mine from game station just after Christmas. Still haven't put it in yet as I need to play through the first one. Then it's on to the second but seein as how the multiplayer is separate therm I'm not spoiling anything for myself.

takes atleast two playthrough to get the majority of the cheevos.

only one i havent got is brutal difficulty. this unlocks after your first playthrough but when you start it you dont take any of your ungraded weapons through. if you play again on the same difficulty you keep all the upgrades which allows you to finish the 'upgrade all weapons' section of cheevos

Does the MP not require an Online Pass?

I know the MP has no achievements assoicated with it, but I'd be loath to pick it up 2nd hand (unless your telling where you got it for 8quid new) thinking the MP was available!

As it is, the games on my hit list to pickup, but for the SP side of things; because quite frankly; the 1st game was decent enough.

I have it and would be happy to do some MP. I've finished the single player and it is worth getting for those of you in two minds. It's scary but also action packed. You've gotta love those necromorphs! Also, if you get it there is a free MP download with some extra maps on it. I think it's called outbreak
