XBF Daily: Just the beginning

Microsoft have just released a trailer focusing on the excellent line up of games from 2015 and 2016 including exclusive titles such as Gears of War 4, Crackdown 3, Recore, Scalebound, Quantum Break and many more. The console may not be doing very well sales wise but the line-up of AAA exclusive titles is diverse and considerably more appealing than the limited Sony offerings. I can’t wait to play Recore and Quantum Break this year both new IP’s and Xbox exclusives.

2016 is shaping up to be a great year for Xbox owners

Elsewhere the great beast that is EA have finally announced there will be a Mirrors Edge Catalyst Beta later in the year. Although no time was given the game is penned in for release in May 24th so it should logically be around March or April. Hopefully we can play through some of the touted cooperative modes and get really hyped for the return of the criminally underrated Mirrors Edge.

Last up is news that we can finally get hands on with the quite brilliant Unravel through the EA Access program. Members get exclusive access to the first 2 levels and a total of 10 hours of playing time. The game looks fantastic and a real change from the typical EA led sports and shooters that frequent the Xbox and PlayStation. If you haven’t heard much about Unravel take a look at the trailer and give it a try.

That’s all for today i’ll be back Monday with something cool hopefully.
